Starting tomorrow students will be starting a new topic in math, place value to 100. In second grade, we focus on ones, tens, and hundreds. In this unit students are expected to learn the following:
1. use base ten block manipulatives to model 2-digit numbers
2. read and write numbers to 100
3. use symbols to compare numbers
4. count to 100
5. tell the number that is 10 more or 10 less
6. identify even and odd numbers
