This week your child will be learning how to write a persuasive paragraph. We are using OREO to help students organize their writing. They will be following the following checklist to complete their paragraphs:
1. Indent the first line.
2. O - Write a topic sentence that tells your opinion.
3. R-E - Write sentences that support your opinion. State your reasons and give examples.
4. O -Write a closing sentence that restates your opinion.
